What Is One Pass Industrial Printing?
One Pass printing is a digital inkjet printing method in which a fixed printhead array spans the required printing width while the substrate moves through the printing zone. The image is produced as the material passes the printheads, rather than requiring a conventional scanning carriage to traverse the same area repeatedly.
This architecture can reduce repetitive printhead movement and support high-throughput production. When integrated with appropriate feeding, curing, inspection, and handling systems, One Pass printing can become part of a more automated industrial workflow.
Actual throughput and print quality depend on printhead configuration, ink coverage, resolution, substrate characteristics, curing requirements, and production-line design.
